Thursday, sunny Thursday.

Moral is higher today. Probably just because the sweet smell of the weekends freedom is just aroun the corner.
S. has found a job, so today was my last day to enjoy making faces at him from across the room. I'm very happy for him - that he's getting out of this swamp pit.

I painted more frames today, while sitting next to a 45 year old woman whose company I enjoyed. We ended up bitching about this place together at length. She was also suckered into the idea that we would be making toys here, just like me.

This woman also told me that each of us being placed here is worth $1000 from the government to our job services provider. She explained that she wanted to change from working here to working at St Vincent's after a week, but she wasn't aloud because the check had already gone through. I can't believe how ridiculous that is.
As a mother that hadn't worked for 20 years while bringing up her child, she finds that no one want to employ a middle aged woman who hasn't been in the workforce for that long.
Not to mention the fact that she has to put up with arseholes drawing weirdy naked people next to her...

Half an hour until quittin' time...
